A dedicated teacher, Emily Redhead has over ten years experience teaching privately and at music schools in Montreal. An SAA approved teacher of the Suzuki Method, Emily teaches in both private and group settings, and has been on faculty at several summer music programs, including the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra Summer String Camp and the Comox Valley Youth Music Centre. Her teaching method combines elements of the Suzuki Method with the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum. Emily directs the music program at École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal, has been on faculty at the Montréal Academy of Music and in the Suzuki program at École FACE, and in the after school program at Thorndale Elementary School. She is a co-founder of Orchestre de Chambre Kensington, and formerly also of Sinfonia Mont-Royal, both programs for string players of all ages in Montreal, and of Montreal Violin Lessons, a violin studio in NDG. Emily currently teaches privately in Montreal.
