A dedicated teacher, Emily Redhead has over twently years experience teaching all ages and levels, combining Suzuki and traditional methods of violin teaching. An SAA approved teacher of the Suzuki Method, Emily teaches in both private and group settings, and has been on faculty at several summer music programs, including the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra Summer String Camp and the Comox Valley Youth Music Centre. In addition to maintaining her private studio, Emily is also currently on faculty in the Suzuki program at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre. She created and directed the music program at École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal from 2018-2022, and co-founded Sinfonia Mont-Royal and Orchestre à cordes du Plateau, both programs for string players of all ages in Montreal. She has also taught in several music programs at schools including École FACE and Thorndale Elementary School. Emily is a co-creator of Bariolage School of Music, a brand new school for strings located in Montreal.
